The "Bejeweled" video may immediately come to mind when you think of looking for Easter eggs about past relationships in someone's music, but Miley Cyrus just upped the ante.

Her new song, "Flowers," came out ahead of the release of her album, Endless Summer Vacation, and fans are speculating how the song and music video reference her ex-husband, actor Liam Hemsworth. Check out these clues we can dissect.

In the wake of Miley Cyrus' announcement that "Flowers" would be released on Liam Hemsworth's birthday, many assumed she had some shots to take. Especially the line:

"Built a home and watched it burn."

As a result of the Woolsey Fire in 2018, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth got married. Their Tennessee wedding took place later that year.

According to fans, the Hunger Games actor dedicated Bruno Mars' "When I Was Your Man" at their wedding. Some of Miley Cyrus' lyrics in "Flowers" seem to be in response to the 2013 hit song.

Miley Cyrus' fans saw several other references as direct shots at her ex. She resembles Joaquin Phoenix's Oscar-winning character in Joker, according to this tweet and many others on social media - which is Liam Hemsworth's favorite movie.
