A parade through the streets of Kansas City on Wednesday was the beginning of the Chiefs' celebrations after Sunday's Super Bowl win. Patrick Mahomes, two-time Super Bowl MVP, told the crowd he planned to see them again in the same place next year.

During the rally, Mahomes, the Super Bowl MVP, thanked Chiefs fans and said that more big wins would come in the future.

Approximately 800,000 to 1 million fans lined the streets in celebration of the Chiefs' last Super Bowl win in 2020, and early indications suggest they will match that number this year.

The parade kicked off at noon local time, but some fans queued up since 6 a.m. CT for prime viewing spots. In somewhat organized fashion, the Chiefs' busses paraded through the streets. Buses soon separated as players got off to celebrate with fans.

Others handed out beers, signed autographs, and took selfies. "Chiefs kingdom, we do this for you," said boisterous tight end Travis Kelce. The Arrowhead (Stadium) shakes every time you play."
