One of the year's biggest fights will take place on the UFC's second pay-per-view of 2023.

UFC 284 is officially set for Feb. 11, with lightweight champion Islam Makhachev versus featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski battling for the 155-pound title.

In terms of MMA Fighting Pound-for-Pound rankings, Volkanovski is currently No. 1. He is followed by Makhachev at No. 2.

An interim featherweight championship will be contested by Yair Rodriguez and Josh Emmett in the co-main event.

Emmett enters his first title opportunity on the heels of a five-fight winning streak. Rodriguez defeated two-time title challenger Brian Ortega recently.

Among the other fights on the main card are Jack Della Maddalena facing Randy Brown, Justin Tafa and Parker Porter meeting in a heavyweight bout, and Jimmy Crute taking on Alonzo Menifield.

On Feb. 11, UFC 284 will air exclusively on ESPN+ pay-per-view from Perth, Australia's RAC Arena.
