Wreck, a British comedy horror film, has been acquired by Hulu for U.S. distribution. It is produced by Euston Films ( Dublin Murders ) and Ryan J. Brown. It launches on Hulu on March 1 with distributor Fremantle.

'Wreck' is a thriller set aboard a mega cruise ship that combines comedy and slasher. During the movie, Jamie, a 19-year-old new recruit, infiltrates a 1,000-strong crew to find his sister, who also worked on the ship but disappeared mid-charter.

Bloodthirsty murders are occurring on board despite an overworked and underpaid crew partying and living in excess.

Shirley Bowers, Fremantle's US SVP of Distribution, negotiated the deal. AMC Networks International (Latin America) and ABC (Australia) have also signed agreements.

A youth-skewed channel, BBC Three aired the show in October following its debut at Fright Fest. A second season is planned.

Northern Ireland Screen supported Euston Films, part of Fremantle. Noemi Spanos led Euston Films and Tommy Bulfin led the BBC. Each episode was directed and executive produced by Chris Baugh.
