St. Ives, the only port in southwest England's Cornwall, may be a former fishing town. In 2010 and 2011, this charming seaside resort was named the Best UK Seaside Town. When the Romans founded Bath in 60 AD, they built baths here because of the hot springs. Spas were very popular in the Georgian era. Its water is famous, but its architecture is also excellent.
