COVER.METALNATION.ORG Princess Charlotte's granddaughter Charlotte-Rose Hickson requested a playdate with the Queen Consort There might be a new friend for Princess Charlotte.

COVER.METALNATION.ORG On Thursday, she visited STORM Family Center in Battersea, London. Camilla attended the 19th anniversary celebration of the organization, which serves victims of domestic violence.

COVER.METALNATION.ORG King Charles' granddaughter Princess Charlotte, 7, requested a playdate with an 8-year-old girl named Charlotte-Rose Hickson during the visit, reports The Independent.

COVER.METALNATION.ORG A STORM volunteer's mother attended the event with her father Wayne Hickson. In an interview with Hello!, Charlotte-Rose said, "She said she would give my note to Charlotte, I hope she will agree...I'll go to her house."

COVER.METALNATION.ORG Several weeks ago, Wayne's daughter got the idea to invite the Queen Consort and pushed through nerves to give her the letter.

COVER.METALNATION.ORG "Camilla told her that she liked her dress and she would pass the note on for her," Wayne said. Queen Camilla visited STORM center founder Marie Hanson and met survivors; she also learned about its activities, such as candle-making and computer skills.
