Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas have started production on a new record, according to a new video interview with Vanity Fair.When asked if she’s seen much of her brother/key collaborator recently, Eilish replied, “We see each other all the time, and we’re also starting to do music again.” We’ve just begun the process of creating an album, which is very exciting.”

Eilish didn’t reveal any specifics about the sessions or the type of music they were working on, but she did mention how nice it was that music allowed the siblings to spend time together. “Now we have set days when we see one other, which is really good because, you know, life gets in the way.” Actually, I spend a lot of time with my brother. It’s my pal!”
Eilish’s most recent album, Happier Than Ever, was released in 2021, and she spent the first half of this year travelling the world in promotion of it. But Eilish hasn’t stopped releasing new music since then: She released the Guitar Songs EP in July, which included two new songs (“TV” and “The 30th”), and she and Finneas also composed music for 4*Town, the fictional boyband in the Pixar film Turning Red.

Finneas, on the other hand, released his debut solo album, Optimist, in 2021. He directed the music for B.J. Novak’s film Vengeance this year and released a few new songs, including “Hate to Be Lame” and “Naked.” He reported late in October that he had broken his leg.
